Our history

The local market of a groceries business became too small to the company founder Franz Janschitz (born in 1924). The idea of distributing agricultural products, especially with the exclusive distribution of electric fences, was born.

In 1962 the company founder began successfully with the sales in Austria. As it happens, that already in 1969 first steps were taken in the protection of road construction zones, a completely different market segment. In 1971 Franz Janschitz (born in 1953) took over the management of the company. The consequent treatment of the Austrian market lead a fast groth of the company to the market leadership in the agricultural and traffic engineering area.

But soon the Austrian marktet got too small. New product ideas and markets were in demand. The neighboring country Slovenia was an ambitious country and the decision to build up a daughter business in 1991 there was nearby. Franz Janschitz realized the chance, but also the necessity to launch new products to make accessible new markets.

Our Slogan „Life with Nature“ was born in 1991 with the production of our cream separators. The worldwide distibution of our products under the name "Milky" began. Today our company counts worldwide to the top 3 companies in these areas, due to the highest quality and reliability of our products. The change of the legal form of a sole proprietorship to a limited partnership (Ltd.) took place.

The sections of the direct marketing include "Milk processing", "Meat processing", "Farm Supply" and "Pasture Supply".

Since more than 50 years our targets remain the same - Keep hold what has been achived so far and find new ways to offer our customers the best possible solutions.

Our mission statement & our vision

"Our target is to provide small and medium farms with quality products for the direct marketing, to improve the income of the farmers. By the well-chosen product portfolio, we offer our clients and business partners a high-quality assortment of goods to give the best possible base to final customers to refine their products and to have the safest keeping of animals.

Due to selected suppliers and partners we are able to maintain the quality of our products and be innovately present in the world market.

Our target is to be the primary contact of traders for quality and client-specific products in the traffic and agricultural engineering division. Matched with optimum consultation and service, an adequate price, the organisation of long-term partnerships with our business partners and end customers, as well as constant innovation and new developments, we make this mission reality.

The long-term protection and the continuity of our family business, as well as the associated places of employment is our priority objective. To reach this, we have to make profits, which are invested in new ideas and our employees. Thereby we want to keep the national and international market leadership with quality products in the milk processing (Milky) and the mobile traffic management systems (Traffic-Safety-Services) with LED technology."

Our products

With our "Milk processing", "Meat processing", "Farm Supply" and "Pasture Supply" assortment we cover almost all segments in the agricultural and the direct marketing area. With us, you get all required products around the milk and meat processing, the electric fencing and much more further products around the farm directly from one single source.

Milk processing - Milky
The natural and first of all hygienic processing of milk to tasteful butter, matured cheese or fresh yoghurt is our target. To reach this target we have developed our Milky cream seaprators, Milky butter churns and Milky pasteurizers. Technological lead, the highest precision in the processing and the use of high-quality materials are the requirement with the production of our products.

Pasture Supply
As experts with more than 50 years of experience in the agricultural area, it was logical to develop a own line of electric fencers, exactely according to the actual needs of the farmers. Our electric fencers and accessories from the well-priced to the best quality fulfil these requirements to an extremely high degree.

Meat processing
The trend to produce food products on your own, to conserve and consume them is a big whish with an increasing demand. A big and important role plays, beside the meat processing, the vacuum packaging. In our comprehensive assortment different price and quality segments for every individual need are found.

Farm Supply
Well groomed animals that feel comfortable achive better results. Our Heiniger clippers are even used from world champions, although their easy handling and excellent power. Simple products for the animal care and animal keeping complete our range."
